In mid September, we had Finley baptized. Dan's sister Donna, and my brother Patrick agreed to be her godparents, and Father Thomas Mulcrone, the CFD chaplain, performed the ceremony. She was baptized at our local church surrounded by aunts, uncles, and her many cousins (missing were our favorite residents of New England, Auntie Meg, Uncle Bill and cousin Emma) The ceremony was lighthearted, short and sweet and we followed it up with a little party at our house complete with a super yummy cake.(if you need a recommendation for a cake, I know just the girl)
