Kiegan got lucky this year and got to celebrate her birthday not for 1 day, but for 3 days. The day of her actual birthday (july 6th) Dan and I took her to the store so she could pick out her big girl bike. Of course she picked the purple one covered in Disney princesses. She couldn't wait to get it home and start riding. After dinner that night we went miniature golfing followed by making birthday sundaes. Then the following weekend, we had a little party with both the O'Boyle and McMahon families.
Kiegan's birthday celebrating ended with a train trip downtown to the American Girl Store for lunch with me,Busia, Aunt Deb, and Auntie Kay. She loved having the waitstaff sing "Happy Birthday" to her as the whole restaurant watched, but I think she loved the peppermint ice cream and super yummy cake just a little more.
